Courtyard by Marriott Breaks Ground in Braselton, Bringing New Hotel and Event Space

Braselton is continuing its exciting growth, and a new hotel is officially on the way. Last Thursday, Solvue Hospitality Group held a ceremonial groundbreaking for the Courtyard by Marriott Braselton, a modern hotel development located near La Quinta Inn & Suites off Highway 53.

 

Developed in partnership with Marriott International, the new Courtyard by Marriott will offer far more than just a place to stay. In addition to thoughtfully designed guest accommodations, the project will include more than 8,000 square feet of dedicated banquet and event space, making it an ideal destination for business travelers, weddings, community events, and regional meetings.

 

Local leaders, project partners, and representatives from the Town of Braselton and Jackson County gathered to celebrate the milestone alongside Solvue Hospitality Group.

 

“We’re excited to welcome the new Courtyard by Marriott to Braselton,” said Lauren Leonard, Braselton’s Tourism Director. “This hotel represents a meaningful investment in our community and reflects the strong momentum we’re seeing as a growing destination. Beyond providing an excellent place for visitors to stay, it supports local jobs, encourages guests to explore our shops, restaurants, and attractions, and strengthens our local economy.”

 

For Solvue Hospitality Group, the project is especially close to home. “This project is especially meaningful to us because it’s happening right here in our own community,” a representative shared. “Braselton continues to grow as a destination for business, tourism, and quality development, and we’re proud to contribute a hotel that will create jobs, welcome visitors, and provide new space for local events and gatherings.”

 

Town officials echoed the importance of the development as part of Braselton’s long-term vision, emphasizing the value of partnerships with developers who are invested in the community’s success.

 

Construction is now underway, with the Courtyard by Marriott Braselton expected to open in a future phase once development is complete, another exciting step forward for Braselton’s continued growth.
