There’s something a little different happening in Downtown Braselton this Thursday night and instead of simply looking at art, you’ll get to watch it being created.

ART ALIVE is bringing more than 30 artists together inside The 1904 Building on Thursday, October 8, for an evening of live art, food, drinks and a chance to support more public art in Braselton.

The event runs from 6-9 PM and is presented by The 1904 Gallery, Rebar Braselton and Flourish Taproom.

What makes ART ALIVE especially interesting is the opportunity to see the creative process up close.

Throughout the evening, more than 30 participating artists will be creating original pieces live. Guests can walk through the event, meet the artists and watch as blank canvases and fresh ideas turn into finished works of art.

It’s part art show, part night out and a chance to experience the local arts community in a much more interactive way.

And You Could Take a Piece Home

The artwork created during the evening won’t simply disappear when the event ends.

Finished pieces will be included in a silent auction, giving guests the opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind artwork created that night.

Proceeds will help support the Braselton Arts Council’s vision for future public art projects that celebrate the people, history and spirit of Braselton while adding to the character of the community.

Guests will also be able to explore a new exhibition at The 1904 Gallery, featuring additional work from each of the participating artists.

ART ALIVE brings together several things we love seeing downtown - local businesses, creative people and an experience that gives residents another reason to spend an evening in Braselton.
