Braselton’s Bee Team Is Growing - And You’re Invited

The Town of Braselton is growing and needs volunteers for the Bee Team. Help support festivals, wine walks, parades, and special events in the community.

If you’ve ever attended a parade, festival, wine walk, or antique show in Braselton and thought, “Wow, this town really knows how to put on an event,” there’s a good chance the Bee Team had something to do with it.

As the Town of Braselton continues to grow, so does the need for passionate volunteers who love this community and want to be part of the action. And right now, the Bee Team is buzzing with opportunity.

The Braselton Bee Team is a dedicated and enthusiastic group of more than 40 active community members who proudly represent their town. Since its revitalization in 2023, this vibrant volunteer team has become essential to the success of many of Braselton’s signature events.

We’re talking about the antique shows, chocolate & wine walks, holiday parades, festivals, and so much more.

From greeting guests with a smile to assisting with logistics behind the scenes, Bee Team members collaborate closely with town staff and community leaders to ensure every event runs smoothly. Some volunteers lend their talents to administrative tasks, while others help curate historical archives for display at The 1904 — preserving the stories that make Braselton so special.

Simply put: if something exciting is happening in town, the Bee Team is likely right in the middle of it.

In January, the Community Development team hosted the Bee Team’s annual awards dinner and celebration to recognize their hard work throughout 2025. It was an evening filled with gratitude, laughter, and well-deserved recognition.

Mayor and Council even recorded special thank-you messages to honor the volunteers’ dedication. It was a reminder that while the Bee Team knows how to work hard, they also know how to celebrate together.

And that’s part of what makes this group so special — it’s not just about volunteering. It’s about community.
