CAVA Plans New Restaurant in Braselton |
CAVA is planning a new restaurant in, bringing its popular Mediterranean bowls, pitas and customizable menu to Braselton. |

Braselton could soon have another new dining option, with fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant CAVA planning a location along Old Winder Highway. The new restaurant is expected to open at 2620 Old Winder Highway in the Market at Highpoint shopping center. CAVA would take over the approximately 2,500-square-foot end space previously occupied by Moe’s Southwest Grill. Moe’s opened at the location in December 2019 and temporarily closed earlier this summer but did not reopen. What Is CAVA? For those who haven't tried it, CAVA is a fast-casual restaurant specializing in Mediterranean-inspired bowls and pitas. Customers can build their own meals by choosing from greens and grains, proteins, dips and spreads, vegetables, toppings and dressings. The menu includes options such as grilled chicken, braised lamb, falafel, hummus and tzatziki. The restaurant concept has expanded rapidly across the country in recent years, including a growing presence throughout Georgia. For Braselton residents, the closest existing CAVA location is currently in the Mall of Georgia area in Buford. Another New Dining Option for Braselton The planned CAVA would bring another fast-casual choice to the Braselton area and introduce a different style of dining to the growing collection of restaurants along the Highway 211 and Old Winder Highway corridor. An opening date for the Braselton location has not yet been announced. Hello Braselton will continue watching for updates as plans for the new restaurant move forward. |
