Georgia is moving closer to ending the twice-yearly time change, a shift that could reshape daily routines in Braselton.

The Georgia Senate overwhelmingly passed the Georgia Sunshine Protection Act (House Bill 154), pushing a proposal that would move the state to the Atlantic time zone and establish one consistent time year-round.
