Nefab, a global leader in sustainable packaging, has officially opened its new Southeast Hub in Braselton, Georgia, a move that significantly boosts the region’s industrial capacity.

 

Spanning 150,000 square feet, the state-of-the-art facility triples output for Nefab in the Southeast and reflects a $9.5 million investment.

 

The site is designed to serve key sectors, including cloud technology, automotive, and healthcare, with expanded production of wood and plywood crates, corrugated packaging, and specialized foam cushioning.

 

Integrated kitting capabilities mean customers receive comprehensive packaging solutions at one location.

 

This expansion creates 30 new jobs, boosting local employment to 90 and supporting future growth as demand accelerates.

 

Nefab’s commitment to sustainability is evident, with the Braselton hub featuring electric equipment, vehicle charging, and energy-efficient systems.

 

The facility strengthens Nefab’s Southeast presence alongside its Fairburn site and underscores its dedication to local economic and environmental priorities.

The expansion relocates the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) to modern spaces, allowing the hospital to better serve the area’s rapidly increasing population.

 

The first patient transfer to the new ICU took place on August 25, marking a significant step forward in high-quality local care.

 

With renovations underway in the former ICU and IMCU spaces, even more inpatient rooms are on the way.

 

This growth is part of a two-phase effort that will expand the emergency department, boost parking by over 200 spaces, and add a new helipad by 2026.
