Nefab's New Facility Triples Production Capacity and Boosts Local Employment |
Nefab, a global leader in sustainable industrial packaging and logistics solutions, has unveiled its new Southeast Hub in Braselton, Georgia, marking a significant milestone in the company's expansion efforts.
The state-of-the-art facility spans 150,000 square feet, effectively tripling Nefab's production capacity in the region.
This substantial growth is underscored by a $9.5 million investment aimed at enhancing service delivery to the cloud, automotive, and healthcare industries.
Patric Vestlund, Executive Vice President - Americas at Nefab Group, emphasized the strategic importance of this development, stating, "This investment reflects both our confidence in the Southeast market and our commitment to building local capacity."
The Braselton facility is equipped to manufacture a diverse range of products, including wood and plywood crates, corrugated packaging, and foam cushioning.
Additionally, it incorporates kitting capabilities to offer comprehensive packaging solutions under one roof.
In its inaugural year, the facility is set to create 30 new manufacturing jobs, increasing the local workforce from 60 to 90 employees.
Further hiring is anticipated as demand continues to rise.
Robert Skinner, Managing Director Southeast at Nefab Group, highlighted the advantages of the location, noting, "Braselton's strong logistics network and thriving business community make it an ideal base for our continued growth."
Designed with sustainability at its core, the facility features electric production equipment, vehicle charging stations, and energy-efficient systems.
These initiatives aim to reduce environmental impact and operational costs, aligning with Nefab's global sustainability objectives.
By establishing this expanded site in Georgia, Nefab aims to better serve customers throughout the Southeast, enhancing service capabilities and supporting customer needs more efficiently.
This move also contributes to local job growth and sustainability efforts, reinforcing Nefab's commitment to the community.
With a presence in over 38 countries and more than 5,000 employees worldwide, Nefab continues to innovate in packaging and logistics solutions, always respecting people and high ethical standards.
The Braselton facility joins existing Georgia operations in Fairburn, further solidifying Nefab's footprint in the region.
