Got a little creativity and some Christmas spirit? Here's your chance to put both to good use!

The 1904 Art Gallery in downtown Braselton is getting ready for its Winter Wonderland Ornament Show, and they're inviting local artists, crafters, and anyone who loves making things to be part of it.

And here's the fun part. Your ornament doesn't have to look like something you'd find hanging on a traditional Christmas tree.

A Little Creative Freedom Goes a Long Way

Traditional, elegant, quirky, glittery, playful, or completely outside the box. The gallery is welcoming all kinds of handmade ornaments.

Love painting? Create something colorful. Enjoy working with clay, wood, fabric, or recycled materials? Go for it!

Maybe you've got an idea for something wonderfully weird. Even better.

The idea is to let your imagination take over and create something that reflects your own style.

And you don't have to be a professional artist to get involved. If you enjoy making things, this could be a fun opportunity to share your creativity with the community.

Your Creation Could Be Part of the Holiday Display

Selected ornaments will become part of the Winter Wonderland Ornament Show at The 1904 Gallery, turning the space into a festive display of local creativity.

The exhibit begins November 14 and will remain on display until after Christmas, giving residents and visitors plenty of time to stop by and enjoy the creations.

It's also a wonderful way to bring more attention to the local arts community and give people another reason to explore downtown Braselton during the holidays.

Want to Participate? Here's What You Need to Know

Submissions are open now through November 11, 2026.

To participate, send photos of your ornament creations to Dana Tyas at danajtyas@gmail.com. You can also reach out to her with questions about the show.

The exhibit opens November 14 at The 1904 Art Gallery in downtown Braselton.

A Little Holiday Creativity, Right Here at Home

One of the things we love seeing in downtown Braselton is opportunities for residents to get involved, try something different, and share their talents.

And this one doesn't require a big commitment. Just a little imagination, a few craft supplies, and some holiday spirit.

So, where are our crafty people?

Dust off those supplies, get creative, and make something worth hanging up this Christmas. You might just see your creation on display at The 1904!
