Residents are encouraged to place a green light on their porch, in a window, or at their business as a visible expression of appreciation. It's a small gesture with a meaningful message: Our veterans are not forgotten. A Thank You That Goes Beyond One Day Veterans Day gives us an opportunity to recognize the people who have served, but appreciation doesn't have to end when November 11 is over. Attend a ceremony. Reach out to a veteran you know. Listen to their stories. Encourage younger generations to understand the meaning of service. Sometimes the simplest gestures mean the most. To all the veterans in Braselton and our surrounding communities, thank you for your service, your sacrifices, and everything you've given to our country! |
